Using your MiFi modem with your iPod touch

From the Home screen of your iPod touch, press Settings.

In the Settings screen, select Wi-Fi.

If Wi-Fi is switched off, move the slider to the right to switch it on.

Once switched on (or if it is already on) your iPod touch will scan for Wi-Fi networks, then display those that are available. Select the MiFi modem by touching it. The name displayed will be whatever you have set the SSID to. In this case, it is i-Mo.

Enter your password (WiFi key) without a space between the eight characters - for example 79E49E05, not 79E4 9E05. You will find the password on the help card that comes in the box or on your MiFi modem under the battery.

When you have entered it, press Join.

Once connected, it will go back to the Wi-Fi Networks page. There will be a tick next to the network, telling you the iPod touch is connected to it.

You are now connected. The iPod's wireless signal indicator is at the top left of the screen. You can now go back to the main menu and your iPod will remain connected to the network (as long as you are within range).
